Yes, there are better malls in Bangkok, but they are also very pricey.
The MBK mall has it’s own uniqueness and personality, its got a really nice feel of having a very enjoyable shopping experience, with over 2300 shops, where you can find almost anything from electronics, second hand phones and computers, food, jewellery, to even beauty parlor and massage shops. After, you’ve done your shopping, there’s also a move theater where you can watch a movie and relax.
Where is MBK Mall Located in Bangkok?
MBK mall is located near the intersection of Rama I Road (Sukhumvit Road turns into Rama I Road) and Phaya Thai Road. It’s very close the Siam BTS station and Siam Paragon. While, you can also enter the MBK mall from Siam Paragon, on the second floor.
Which BTS station is MBK mall at?
The nearest BTS Station to MBK mall is the Siam BTS station. However, you can even drop down at National Stadium BTS station as it is much closer to the MBK Center.
If you take the BTS Subway Train and drop down at Siam Station, from there it’s a 5 minutes walk to the mall. You can ask the locals for directions once you reach the station as if you are new, it can be confusing. Especially, when it is so hot outside, it’s hard to find direction in the heat.
However, if you drop down at National Stadium BTS station, it’s much easier because the MBK Center is right next to the station. The moment you land, you’ll see the big building of MBK Center.
How do I get from Sukhumvit to MBK Mall?
If you are a tourist who is on a vacation in Bangkok, chances are that you’ll most probably be living in the main city area Sukhumvit.
It’s actually very easy to get to MBK Center, if you live in Sukhumvit. I often walk along the Sukhumvit road as its a fun and enjoyable experience.
You’ll find lots of BTS stations along the path of Sukhumvit Road and in fact the BTS rain runs through the Sukhumvit Road.
The easiest way to get to MBK center is to take the train to Siam BTS Station. Here drop down at Siam and it’ a 5 minutes walk to the MBK Center.
You can also switch Stations at Siam Station and get to National Station BTS Station. This is a much better option as if you drop down at National Stadium, the MBK Center is right next to it.
